Jim Cymbala is the pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle, an inner-city congregation of Bible-believing New Yorkers. In this DVD, designed to be used in small groups, he describes the beginnings of his church and its astounding growth, just as he and his congregation of believers grew in their faith. He attributes it all to the power of prayer.

Each of the DVD sessions offers a teaching segment, and most have a prayer story told by a Brooklyn Tabernacle member whose life has been changed by prayer, and closing comments.
