This video shows interesting vignettes on how eight churches from California to Washington have brought the worship experience to Gen-Xers. Most use technology in conjunction with the Bible to spread the word.

In Los Angeles, a church called Mosaic does not worship in a fixed location but in nightclubs and other places. It might seem an odd way to worship, but Mosaic’s message brings together people of over 50 nationalities. This is one of many churches that are taking the Gospel out onto the street, just as Christ went out into the world.

In Seattle, worshippers at the Mars Hill Church use many different musical styles. They believe the only way to worship is by coupling song with denial of self (Luke 9:23).

I highly recommend this video to any progressive congregations who are willing to try alternative worship ideas for outreach.
