Church librarians on the lookout for board books will want to consider these two from Sabrina Bus. With colorful illustrations by Xavier Deneux, she takes the youngest readers phrase-by-phrase through these two essential prayers. (Note: Our Father does not include the “For thine is the kingdom…,” the addendum used by most Protestants.)

The text of the prayers appears in the upper part of the pages; simple, explanatory text appears below to aid in understanding.
